Steven Hassan is the President of Freedom of Mind Resource Center Inc., a non-profit organization that provides counseling, coaching, and education to individuals and families affected by undue influence and authoritarian control. He holds a PhD in Organizational Development and Change from Fielding Graduate University and a Master’s degree in the same field.
As a cult and mind control specialist with over 47 years of experience, Dr. Hassan has authored four books, including The Cult of Trump, and delivered 4 TEDx talks. He has also developed the BITE Model of Authoritarian Control, the first scientifically validated construct for evaluating undue influence and the Strategic Interactive Approach, two innovative frameworks for identifying and intervening in cases of harmful influence. His mission is to promote access to the truth, freedom of thought, and freedom from undue influence as basic human rights.
